The Dainty Lady docked in port on Lucre Island

The Dainty Lady is Guybrush Threepwood's ship in Escape from Monkey Island. He acquires the ship at the beginning of the game but is thoroughly unhappy with its pink colour. The Dainty Lady is acquired at the Mêlée Island port, where Guybrush uses the Governor's gubernatorial seal to impress the Harbor Mistress. The ship has a mysterious Lady Figurehead, who is assumedly the 'Dainty Lady' herself, though her true nature suggests otherwise.

Crew

Guybrush recruits Ignatius Cheese as the navigator of his ship and is also able to convince Carla and Otis back to his crew. The crew travels with Guybrush to Lucre Island and Jambalaya Island, but are not seen after this.

Journeys

It is revealed that on an earlier journey, the Dainty Lady collided with a ship carrying a shipment of voodoo ingredients. Some of these spilled overboard and brought the figurehead on the Dainty Lady to life, although she only seems to be animate when she wears her pink earrings.

The Dainty Lady travels with Guybrush from Mêlée Island to Lucre Island with few difficulties and is anchored there until Guybrush is able to prove his innocence to Inspector Canard. The ship travels back to Mêlée Island, where Guybrush seeks to uncover the secrets of Grandpa Marley's heirlooms. Here the ship proves particularly helpful; the heirlooms are the keys to reawakening the figurehead, who then (inadvertedly) points him towards Jambalaya Island where the pieces of the Ultimate Insult can be found.

After travelling to Jambalaya and Knuttin Atoll and assembling the Ultimate Insult, Guybrush returns to Mêlée and is captured by Ozzie Mandrill and LeChuck. The Dainty Lady is not seen after this point and it is unknown what happens to the ship.
