The Bone Song

The Bone Song is sung by Guybrush's parents in the second game. Guybrush falls while climbing the big tree on Booty Island; he hits his head and has a hallucination. His parents' song will help him with a puzzle whilst he is searching for LeChuck. His parents burst out of their skins and sing the song while dancing in skeleton form and demonstrating each bone as they name it. The song ends when the Zombie Pirate LeChuck approaches and the skeletons run away in fear.
The song is a variation of the popular spiritual song "Dem Bones". It is different every time the game is played. One variation of the song is as follows:
The leg bone is connected to the head bone.
The head bone is connected to the hip bone.
The hip bone is connected to the rib bone.
Guybrush records the lyrics on the spit-encrusted paper in his inventory. Later in the game, the three bones named in a verse tell him which bone-covered panel to push as he navigates through LeChuck's labyrinthine Fortress.
