Rum Rogers, Jr. is the son of Rum Rogers Sr., who was one of the four people to own a piece of the map to Big Whoop. He appears in Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge. He is a fat, grizzled pirate with white hair and a drunkard's tomato red nose. He makes frequent references to his earlier drinking days, and is currently retired.

Guybrush at Rum Rogers' Cottage

When his father died, Rum Jr. inherited his house off the shore of Phatt Island, along with its extensive collection of home-brewed liquor. Since then there has been a steady stream of treasure seekers at his door, all looking for the piece of the map to Big Whoop, something Rum Rogers, Jr. knows nothing about; according to LeChuck Rum Jr. "was too much of a drunkard to understand its importance".

Sometime after Rum Rogers, Jr. moved in, Guybrush Threepwood shows up at his door. Guybrush refuses to leave when asked and challenges him to a duel. In return, Rum Rogers, Jr. challenges him to a drinking contest, using his father's homebrew, which he refers to as "Special Contest Grog". Guybrush wins by substituting the grog with near-grog, and Rum Rogers, Jr. turns out to be unable to quaff the stuff himself, collapsing in a faint on the floor.

Guybrush searches the cabin and finds the skeleton Rum Rogers Sr. in a bathtub beneath the floorboards, clutching his piece of the map to Big Whoop.
