M. Muszalski, commonly known as Moose, appears in Tales of Monkey Island as a member of the Democratically United Brotherhood of the Manatee Interior. He was a trusted member of Coronado De Cava's expedition crew, being the one to hang onto the highly valuable Tongue of the Manatee. After the crew mutiny and set up the Brotherhood, Moose does nothing but drink ichor. He heartily accepts Guybrush Threepwood as part of the group, but won't give him his vote unless Santino, the dead member of the Brotherhood, also consents.
Moose is voiced by Adam Harrington.
Personality
Moose is outwardly friendly, and speaks in 1980s surfer slang, referring to Guybrush as "Bra". He spends his time drinking, will make a toast to anything Guybrush suggests, and puts his full trust in Santino, whom he does not realize has been dead for quite some time. According to De Cava's file on him, Moose's greatest fear is "Bummers".
However, despite his friendly nature, Moose participates in De Cava's naval attack on the Screaming Narwhal, and Noogie's grave suggests that Moose may have had a hand in his murder.
Trivia
- In the PS3 version, if Guybrush gets Moose, Santino and the other members of the Brotherhood to recruit him by a unanimous vote, the player is rewarded with a "There Is a Brotherhood of Jerks" silver trophy in the PlayStation Network Trophy Achievements; and if he manages to defeat them and De Cava, the reward is a "Feed the Beast" gold trophy.
