Cobb (a.k.a. The Loom Guy) is a pirate found sitting in the Scumm Bar in The Secret of Monkey Island. His name can be verified by looking at his hat, though it is possible that this isn't his name. He doesn't say anything about LeChuck, but he has a button that says "Ask me about Loom". If you follow the request he will tell you about Loom, which is another adventure game by LucasArts. He is modelled after a character by almost the same name (the name Cob is used in Loom, rather than Cobb) from Loom.

Manny Calavera makes a similar cameo in The Curse of Monkey Island.
